I believe in a minimalist approach to photography. I use small, high-quality manual focus lenses and a completely silent electronic shutter in order to minimize the attention I get as the photographer. This approach is less intimidating for the subject, and it helps me capture intimate images that are a unique window into their world.

Wide aperture lenses and the latest in sensor technology allow me to use available light even in the most challenging conditions, resulting in natural images that better capture the moment.

Leica M-mount lenses are optimized for image quality and unique rendering. The vibrant colors, falloff, and soft bokeh give images a special look that is hard to match.

Small lenses and cameras help me gain access to places and situations where more imposing equipment would draw too much attention or even get me kicked out.
